Risks and rewards of starting to specialise in quantum programming?
I'm not an expert so I could be wrong, but my impression is that outside of a few academic and industry research groups there is no such thing as "quantum programming" because there is as yet nothing resembling a programmable quantum computer. There may be some quantum computer simulators that you can try implementing quantum algorithms on, but I think that's about it.
