How do you chose a VPS Host?

Question

Trying to move away from GCE's VPSes and would like to migrate to a host that seems to honestly care about user privacy, net neutrality, etc.HN, I am curious:- How do you go about evaluating which VPS hosts to use?- What are some potentially interesting hosts that don't grab a lot of attention? (i.e. besides DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, Hetzner, and Upcloud)- What are your thoughts about and/or experience with Greenhost.net?

I used VPS on Alpharacks, they didn't care about content as long as it wasn't kiddie porn. The price and storage space was right, until they went out of business and closed down before I could backup my site.
