How often do EC2 prices go down?
Do AWS EC2 prices ever go down or have they been constant throughout? I am particularly interested in on demand instances. Has anyone done any studies on pricing trends over time?
They don't as much when cheapest instances are in question. I keep checking https://cloudoptimizer.io/ and the lowest price is pretty constant.
The way you can capitalize is finding the same compute elsewhere. For any AWS instance there is usually a cheaper equivalent elsewhere.
