Why doesn't any of the HN APKs work when using a private DNS on Android?
I have a Pixel and a private DNS set, who also acts as an adblocker. None of the HN unofficial apps worked while having the DNS active. They just failed to load any content.
Apps I've tried: Glider, Harmonic, Materialistic
Private DNS I use: dnsforge.de
THAT'S why they don't work? I've been having issues with Harmonic recently, and recently started using a mobile VPN. Will have to test this, just assumed the HN API was being dumb
