Chess Variant for Toddlers?
I want to start teaching my almost five year old son chess but it's kind of hard! Does anyone know of a simplified version of chess that might be a good first step in this direction? I'm think of something played on a smaller board or with simpler rules.
I’m no expert but how about connect 4, tic tac toe or checkers? They’re all pretty simple and while not directly chess related they do have rules and tactics
