With the holidays around the corner, how other remote-first founders thinking about company events?

In general, we've always just wished everyone well, and then spent holidays with friends and family, not work.

Our company has hosted some remote events around holidays. We used Boombox[1] a couple times and had a magician[2]. We use GrubHub[3] to give everyone a meal credit for the event.
