How criticising Facebook became so popular?

Today it seems even main-stream news organizations blame facebook for everything, call the founder "Zuck", etc. But why single out facebook? Why not twitter, reddit, tiktok?

I first learned about facebook's misdeeds from Stallman, who has had serious and valid criticisms since at least 2016. He doesn't hold back on many other organizations either. Many groups and individuals have had good reasons to criticize facebook for a while. At first I was surprised it didn't become mainstream sooner, now I'm surprised it's become mainstream at all.

Remember that Facebook is a competitor to every mainstream outlet that criticizes it.

Started with Zuckerberg saying they had no role in Trumps Election. Then the Cambridge Analytica and lot of other stuff came out. And Zuckerberg admitted screwing up and said they would clean up the mess. They built big teams to do it. But just ignored them whenever decisions involved loosing cash. Due to which we get multiple whistleblowers and never ending leaks from within FB.

Twitter, Reddit and Tiktok arent leaking as much but its just a matter of time, cuz you are right they all do the same thing.
