How to? Multiple monitors across house, exact same output

Fellow HNers,

I'm finding that with work from home, it helps to give myself a change of scenery by working in different parts of the house.

Whilst I could simply do this with my laptop, I much prefer working on large displays.

I have a wireless Lenovo keyboard (which has a built-in mouse trackpoint), and I'd like to place a large monitor in 3 separate areas of the house.

I also want to be able to walk around the house seamlessly and work on any of the displays - without having to plug/unplug anything.

What's the best way to do this?

Thanks! ^_^

While wireless solutions have their pluses, ultimately the least aggravating setup in the long run is probably to run a wire.

Consider an HDMI splitter + running HDMI cables to each location you want a display. Normal HDMI cables run up to about 10 metres but there are active cables that can do 100+ metres.

I have 2 desks and 1 standing desk. All of them are equipped with a docking station + equipment.

When I want to move, i just unplug 1 cable from my laptop and plug one back in at the wanted destination.

FFmpeg to multicast your screen/audio on your network, rPi zeros as receivers.
