Do the recent HN changes bother people who use screen readers?

Due to some mild problems with the vision, I have been "reading" HN using the screen reader in the past year or so. The discussion in the comment section is often more valuable than the linked article and the text-only page made it read like a real discussion.

However, the links to "root", "parent" and "next" were added recently, which breaks this flow and adds a lot of repeated text that makes it hard to follow the discussion.

Has anyone noticed this and is there a chance we might get an option to turn these off?

Thanks.

Send an email to the mods hn@ycombinator.com These threads sometimes are unnoticed.

For some somewhat similar problem, someone suggested Greasemonkey https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greasemonkey , but you must write the script to remove the part you don't like.
