What's the best 'simple' todo app?

I am looking for a simple todo app.WunderList was shut down.Trello is getting messed up by Atlassian.Todoist is nice, but getting more restrictive by the day.What are you guys using?

I use TickTick free tier.I wanted something with good repeat options, which it has. Not tried sharing. Otherwise happily used for about 6 years. Syncs across web and app. Imports calendars too.

todo apps are the 'hello world' of the app world, just have a Google for a 'todo app tutorial' in whatever language/framework you prefer and roll your own.Although that said I just put everything in gedit and then mostly ignore it.
