How do one-person software projects deal with sales tax?

I'm building a small project that I hope to make publicly available for anyone to use, but I need to charge a recurring fee for those who do end up using it to cover my costs which grows roughly linearly with increased usage.

My project is classified as a software service, so it's a taxable good in most tax jurisdictions. I'm currently incorporating Stripe payments, and Stripe Tax is fantastic for automatically getting the correct tax rate, but I wonder how one (literally one person) would deal with registering, filing remittance to pay sales tax, which I believe is legislated at the state level.
