Is any of the usability or social research Google did for G+ available?
While G+ was undergoing active development, there was supposedly quite a lot of research and testing being done on things like the effect of Real Names™ and moderation on the incidence of harassment and abuse, the influence of various features and UI affordances on information sharing and group formation/growth, and similar topics of interest to anyone designing or developing software with social features (such as everything within the fediverse).
With the demise/shutdown of G+, it seems that any proprietary interest Google might have in that research would be moot (though obviously the underlying data could pose privacy concerns), but as far as I know none of it was ever released or discussed publicly even in summary.
At this point, even the publicly facing discussions of features and UI with members of the G+ team are long gone from the web, and that seems a real loss to me.
Can any of that knowledge be made available in some form?
