Are you willing to live with Covid-19 cases in society?

or are you firm believer that we can make cases to zero in the next 1-2 years?

Also, if possible, what is your country's / state's government stance on this?

Yes.

Western countries have been going into mass hysteria over this, prompted by their government leaders and media. While the initial panic would have served the purpose of making everyone aware of the risks, this ongoing behavioural psychologist nudge terror is the type of overkill that will result in cultural and mental dysfunction for a generation, if not more. Guess who stands to benefit the most- it isn't people at ground level, that's for sure.

Zero seems like a pipedream at this point.

Counter question, how long are you willing to deal with biannual shots and covid related restrictions?

Yes.

In the US, at least my area, the window for public action to make a difference passed by April 2020; after that its into the wildlife and we're living with it want to or not.

All the hysteria since then has been pointless (as far as public health is concerned) political kabuki that has been corrosive to mental health on an individual and social level. We didn't need to do this to ourselves.

Willingness or lack thereof is irrelevant. There is no possibility of zero cases. There are many animal hosts and the vaccines, while effective at preventing deaths, don't reliably prevent infection or transmission.
