Cross-Border Remote Jobs

Hi! Can you recommend any job portals that are specialized in cross-border remote jobs? I’m not EU or US based, and looks like 90% of remote jobs that I see are only for US or EU citizens. With my 13 years experience in software engineering, mentorship, and people management, fluent English, and decent soft skills, I can't get most of the cool jobs I want without relocating to another country. But I’m not willing to relocate. That’s really disappointing.

There are companies that hire globally. Here's some example: https://github.com/yanirs/established-remote

I know at Shopify, we hire outside US/CA/EU. But I also know some locations we cannot hire for due to security concerns. However, unlike most FAANGs we are 100% committed to being fully remote.

i would recommend that you put your info into the monthly hackernews posts Freelancer and who wants to be hired.

I live outside the states, but got contacted for some freelancing opportunities.

The way i see it there is an absolutely large amount of work that you can do outside of the US/EU for companies based there. They just probably aren't FAANGs or their equivalents. Lots of small and medium shops hire too.

I currently work for a small company in the states, but live in latam

Costa Rica is accepting digital nomads. Great place, top companies are there.
