Have you ever worked in a company that has good knowledge management?

Back in the 1980s in my first reall office job I worked for a government agency that had an office manual, for all of its offices.

The manual was in two black three-ring binders, every page fully under version control. It described everything, including, crucially, how to code things for filing and how and where to file them.

Working there was boring, in the very best way. I didn't know how lucky I was, at the time.
