I've paid for a few home services that literally lets me contact an expert, ask some questions and get some straight answers to my problem (eg. fixing a broken pipe, removing old wiring).
I was wondering if there's anything similar for developers? I mostly learn from googling and lots of trial and error, but there are times where I just need to know what I am doing wrong so I can get the job done on time.

I worked for hackhands for a while which was mostly fun but occasionally I would get in bad situations like the guy who would want me to log in as an administrator and make random changes to his Microsoft SQL server configuration that I don’t know if he was authorized to make. (I feel OK with SQL server as a dev but admin is different). It was better helping students with their homework.
