Question

Is there a good breakdown of all the open source licenses and how they relate to SaaS versus On-premise software businesses. This is especially confusing with javascript as is that "distribution"?

My likely oversimplified take:- Apache2 for things you're building- Apache2, MIT (permissive licenses) for things you build upon and you're going to distribute (including all frontend)- *, ideally avoiding licenses that explicitly prohibits non-commercial, for things you're going to keep inside your walls
