Why is opening Mac Os's file dialog so slow?
It seems like this hasn't been fixed for years.
Big Sur made this worse for sure. There's a very noticeable lag before the dialog pops open. I think it may have something to do with Finder Extensions. Hard one to track down for sure.
Is there anything fast on a Mac? ..
