I pay for NextDNS. They've been pretty good in the 1-1.5 years I've been a subscriber.
Aside from resolving they also provide host-based blocking, so it's like a Pihole in the cloud. Especially useful since I've set up specific profiles to block ads and OEM telemetry/spyware and configured my parents' devices to use it as well.
