How to follow Mozilla's software release notes (i.e. changelogs)?

Mozilla offers no changelog RSS feed(s) I'm aware of and I don't know if there's a fitting mailing list. On desktop I update Firefox via my distro's package manager and don't see any obvious "what's new" notification (a forced new tab opened in the official Mozilla builds?), on Android the message appears to only reside under the hamburger menu after updates (not necessarily consistently).

Is the only option to generate or create your own RSS feed or email notification setup (preferably separating Windows, OS X and Linux)?
