Instructions to Update to Sam 1.25?

Where I work has received a message from AWS support: "Update all existing SAM CLI installations to version 1.25 or later", searching for this gives one-or-two hits, which makes me suspicious. Anyone else had the same? Any idea what the actual issue is?

I half-suspect a phishing attack on a recently discovered vulnerability in 1.25, please tell me that's just paranoia ...
