Are Service Workers broken or do Twitter engineers suck at them?

It seems like everytime I visit Twitter, only the top or side menus show without any main content or tweets. I either have to do a force refresh or unregister their service worker and reload to get all contents to show.

Anyone else having this issue?

Are service workers really this hard to implement and get right or is the tech just broken?

It's probably an incompatibility with something in your environment. The specific browser version, OS, a plugin etc. If we could run Docker containers in service workers then this sort of thing wouldn't be a problem.

I shouldn't say things like this even as a joke. Someone might take it seriously.

Relax. Big tech sucks by definition and that's a chance for everyone to take over. The motivation of their staff is totally different, regardless of what they have graduated, Harvard or Oxford.

i've been using service workers for a few years now. I still don't know what they are for. I just copy/paste from docs
