How do you break out of an algo silo on sites like YouTube and Spotify

I am sure this is a problem on all social media. But it is something I find annoying on Youtube and Spotify, as far as I have noticed.Both the platforms keep recommending content based on my previous likes. Even when I am trying to find something new, the search results keep returning things similar to my historical views.I open the sites using a VPN, search, find some new things, and watch/listen to it in my primary account.But that is tedious and does not change the recommendation fast. It still takes ages to change.

I&rsquo;ve noticed over the last few months that Spotify&rsquo;s radio and &ldquo;mixes&rdquo; seems to give me way more of what I already listen to and not enough varied recommendations. I liked the old algorithm much better
