What’s Missing on HN?

I'd like the ability to block users I don't like. But it hasn't yet devolved to the point where there's a ton of aggravation, and I recognize that it would be a considerable change to the site's deliberately minimal interface. People do a reasonably good job of not turning things into flame wars.

So, I'm fine with not piling features onto the site. For now. If the site were to become more popular it would invite more people who amused themselves by getting a rise out of other users, and then we'll see.

I would do my best to keep it as is. I like minimalist sites that load and respond quickly while giving me the information I am looking for. There are not many left like this one.
