Title is fairly accurate: what jobs/roles in the aerospace/space worlds will be most valuable over the next decade?

Additionally, what areas of education should students and recent grads be focusing on if they're interested in working on tough problems in space industry?

Space debris is an ever increasing problem. Earth based tracking works on baseball-sized and larger objects. But there are far more marble-sized and larger debris which can't be tracked but pose massive danger.

Perhaps, on-board debris detection and avoidance systems will become a new and essential field. In the same vein, improved redundancy design and self-healing for systems could mitigate unavoidable damage.
