iCloud vs. Gmail vs. Outlook for Email?

Out of the 3 huge providers of email (icloud, gmail and outlook) which would you choose today, if could get a do-over (you don't have to tell friends/family/etc/corporations about your new email address?

Personally, I am trying to decide between icloud and gmail.
