thedrive.com - They post both auto, and military related news (called The War Zone). The military blog is actually quite good, and in between the trolls and loud voices there are actually some very thoughtful and sometimes very informed users who comment. I like how thorough the posts are, and the authors will also comment/reply to users.
I used to frequent autoblog.com, but ownership changed (years ago), and they nuked the comments.
electrek.co - much lower quality, but sometimes the comments are fun to read because I enjoy seeing how heated people get about electric vehicles, especially Tesla.
