In the Insights/Traffic tab, it shows a steady 100-150 clones per day, which seems weird to me because except a post on LinkedIn (that have received only 30 views and 4 clicks), I haven't talked about it.
The Insight/Visitors graph shows only 8 views in total for the same period (5 unique viewers).
This makes me wonder if there are bots that crawls Github repositories based on certain tags and clone it for whatever purposes.
How can I interpret those numbers?
597 clones - 147 unique cloners
8 Views - 5 unique visitors

but the wider answer is, yeah, theres likely organizations and software that mine github for various insights,
i remember a commercial entity trying to sell you meta programming tips by basically stealing your code and oferring it to other people.
