Is anyone using forwardemail.net? Are you able to get support?

I tried the free plan. It worked with my single Greek letter domain which I thought was good. I decided to buy a paid plan. Changed my setup to match that, now the original domain does not work. Tried contacting support to no avail. I know I had heard of the service on HN. Is anyone still using it? Is it a zombie service? Are you able to get responses to your support tickets?

I really like the simplicity of it and would like to be able to keep using it.

I sent them two separate questions months ago, and never got responses to either of them.

Annoying, as I'm a paying customer.

And right now I'm trying to update my payment method, and there doesn't seem to be a way. So should probably just cancel entirely.

Their https://forwardemail.net/en/my-account/billing page seems buggy too. I'm only seeing an invoice from many months ago, even though there's been payments since. And it says my next payment is Sept for some reason, even though it's billed monthly.

I run https://hanami.run

And I guanrantee you will get support from me with 10 mins during 8am-12pm PST. Outside that time I'll get to your ticket when I'm up asap.

Beside forward email, we also have SMTP to send out email so you don't have to rely on gmail.

If you happen to be on cloudflare try out my app https://www.cloudflare.com/apps/hanami to simplify the config steps(MX/SPF record)

This looks like a good idea. But the website looks pretty basic. The 'help' option is just an email contact form to ask a question. A little more about how this service works would be useful. Is it just an email forwarding service, or does it allow you to send/receive emails without the other party seeing your true email address?

It looks like the free tier is just instructions on how to fill out the TXT records on the domain. The paid tier is supposed to add a level of privacy, so you probably need to delete the dns records you created and follow their directions. I assume they have some kind of independent lookup service.

Used them. Not needed support yet.

It did take a few hours to work correctly after setting it up.
