Best of E3 2021?

What was your favorite game or accessory announced this year? What games are you looking forward to playing the most in the coming year?

Nintendo's Metroid Dread announcement was truly and joyously surprising. 19 years since it's last 2D predecessor, it brings finality to the symbiotic story of Samus and the mysterious floating bio-engineered particles. But with a remarkable level of emotion imbued into the design, mirroring the loneliness and alienation of its predecessors.

When producer Yoshio Sakamoto speaks of the need to wait for console tech to advance to meet the vision. I imagine it isn't just graphics prowess, but also the AI planning and motion for the E.M.M.I pursuit drones. Something I imagine the folks at Boston Dynamics will be looking at closely ;)

Generally it is another great disappointment from everyone since the last E3. The only games to take note of are the ones who's trailers are all in-gameplay rendered.

Only 1 winner. Battlefield 2042. Hands down.

The game is so realistic that it also perfectly describes the accurate scenes of all the catastrophic announcements in this year's E3.
