#1) Diet change.
I cut out all sugar, vegetable oils, fried food, and dairy. I prioritize grass fed beef, but I'm not fully carnivore. I'm a lot less angry, a lot more emotionally stable, and I'm able to focus a lot more. (And I lost 10 pounds!)
#2) My work ethic
I realized just how much of my anxiety came from not doing things I knew in the back of my mind I should be doing. My productivity has increased tenfold, and my future is a lot more hopeful because of it.
If a good diet and work ethic are mental health solutions, then no I don't suppose solutions need to be more individualized. Those are two things every person should have.
I notice that when I'm feeling noticeably bad, it correlates (no cause implied!) with my having angry made up mental dialogs. I guess that's a kind of monitoring.
Any health solution, mental or otherwise, should be personalized to the extent necessary for effectiveness.
