What projects are you involved in outside tech/startups?

I'm thinking of projects where you're building/creating something with others (eg making an indie documentary/playing in a band) or trying to achieve something (eg hiking the Appalachian Trail as part of a group).

Is anyone involved in projects like these? How did you come to join/start it?
