I see this problem with a lot of 'ask HN' posts; they're so vague as to be meaningless, so you're not going to learn anything valuable because most people have little incentive to reply. A good post adds some context, like your reason for asking and why you aren't able to come up with an answer on your own, which helps responders decide whether to invest effort in replying.
Also, posting from a throwaway account is usually a bad idea as it suggests that replying will be a waste of time. Finally, many 'ask HN' posters don't even have the courtesy to respond to answers in any way. Don't be like that.
You don't want a list of things you can't do now, or things you'll never do later.
