How Important Are Grades for SE?

How important are grades for Software Engineering Job ?Recently, i got my results of exam(CS Undergrad) and my results were bad. I am now worried.How important are grades? (apart from grades,i am not bad in learning about CS)

You may not be as highly paid or have as much control over your career immediately out of school but it&rsquo;ll be a non factor as your career develops and you have demonstrated work experience under your belt. I was like a C student and 15 years on I think I&rsquo;m one of the higher compensated alumni of my class.

Grades aren&rsquo;t terribly important. Some companies (including notable ones) will filter those with lower than a certain GPA, but there&rsquo;s always ways around that.If you don&rsquo;t have good grades, rely on your school name. If your school isn&rsquo;t notable, projects are key.

Not that important, just make sure you graduate. I never had a company ask for my grades before extending an offer. I was asked a couple of times for transcript for visa paperwork, but doubt any bad grades there would have mattered at that point.
