What career would you try if you could start over again?

The same but I would push hard to make as much money as possible and build my network from the start because after a decade almost every job gets dull and when you have some money and a network a lot of new opportunities come up.

Also learn to talk to people, pick up your phone and call. Basically, throw out the thought I can build something on my own without putting myself out there. Eventually you have to.

Woodworking, carpentry, welding, electrical. I previously wanted to be a school psychologist but the reality of the job was too harsh and killed my drive, now I am a mid-level systems analyst in an IT org of clock watchers. Now I envy people who work with their hands, the get to see the fruit of their labor, can almost at will create their own business and be on their feet as much as they'd like.

I’d probably work any easy, low stress job in a country with socialized health care and work on my tech hobby in my spare time.

Inventor, holder of many patents, with a nice shop for turning out prototypes much like that of Dan Gelbart.

I'd do the mechanical, electronics, and software, along with the machining of everything.

Wealthy heir. Then do whatever I feel like as a hobby.

Construction. I'd still be making things and I get to use my hands.
