Why is the Gates affair story getting flagged off the front page?
I would have imagined that power imbalances between men and women in tech firms would be a valid topic to discuss, this being a tech-related forum and men’s role in keeping women socially and economically subdued being a topic that we (as a society) have finally decided to discuss out in the open.
If you're referring to the dw article I felt exactly the same which is why I vouched for it when it was flagged the first time. I do find it a bit sad that people aren't willing to discuss the topic here. This is a very real problem and it goes far beyond Gates.

Bill Gates is famous for being cursing bully in the workplace. He has admitted it himself. He treated everyone badly. He tried to hustle his co-founder from his shares when Paul Allen became sick.
How he treated women is just side show.
