What Effect Will Biden's Ransomware Taskforce Have on Privacy Coins


Over the past few weeks privacy coins such as Monero, Zcash and Aargh values have increased at a much fastet rate than BTC.

What effect do You think the anti ransom taskforce will have on crpto values and will there be a differing impact for public vs. private coins?

I would still like others in the HN community opinions on this matter but just to add more context to this discussion:

I converted half my Monero to BTC today as I believe BTC has become too legitimate through ETFs and FourFiveHun companies that the Fed will decide it is legaly/beurocraticaly easier to seek out lesser targets such as Alt coins rather than the established safe store of wealth that is BTC....Should I bake a cake?,!?.

This may be the wrong move but truth be told if there were no lockdowns and travel bans, my entire crypto portfolio would amount to less than a vacation to Freemont Steet! Viva La Dogecoin?
