Why aren't you a digital nomad?

The past year has proven to a lot of us that we can do our jobs from anywhere in the world.

And for a lot of us, the idea of working from a cafe in Buenos Aires or a beach in Thailand or a cottage in the Swiss Alps etc is in theory very appealing.

So what are the reasons for not going for it?

Lots of reasons.

1. Mixing travel and work results in doing both poorly. I'd rather focus on one or the other.

2. Having a comfortable home, my own furniture, etc. is awesome.

3. I love having dogs.

4. Seeing friends/family daily is more fulfilling to me than seeing Alps or Thai beaches daily.

5. I don't enjoy the planning, research, and bookings that back-to-back travel requires. It's a lot of overhead.
