What are the possible future opportunities for C++ developers?

As per recent trends 1. 90% on newly created libraries/tools/frameworks have support for Python and JAVA languages by default, but not with C++, driving the adoption of those languages even higher, 2. Every other job opening is either for Python or Java developer.

Looking at above two points, what are the possible domains/opportunities where C++ will still be relevant or rather in high-demand in near future?

Let's see

- really difficult

- increasing complexity over time

- relevant in a number of domains with tonnes of new code still being written and decades of legacy code out there

- many people don't like it or aren't interested in learning it

- as an experienced C++ developer you'll (rightly or not) often be perceived as someone who can pick up any other tech stack

Sounds decent to me.

I don’t see AAA game development, finance/trading and embedded systems moving completely away from c++ anytime soon. If anything all the legacy code bases on c++ will be around for decades, with demand for people who can maintain them paying a premium.
