What’s your favorite free, self-hosted monitoring dashboard?

I have a Digital Ocean droplet running Ubuntu and hosting a Discourse Forum instance and the community is growing rapidly (which is great). I’d like to install a simple self-hosted resource monitoring dashboard on the server so I can check it and determine when I need to upgrade the droplet potentially. I’d like this to be accessible from the browser, behind simple auth.

Any favorite projects?

Grafana is pretty good. You can couple it with many things, such as Prometheus (which is not very good but very popular). Munin is old fashioned but nice too.

DO offers metrics directly from the Dash, just sayin.

Maybe have a look at the no-code tools. Appsmith looks good. https://www.appsmith.com/

Grafana is amazing, I use it for everything these days

Observium is also good for generic server monitoring
