What should've been easily doable but is annoyingly difficult?

HTML for sure. I first learned HTML in my school, back then HTML was about 5-6 tags.

Recently I tried to make a UI on HTML. Simple things like centering horizontally/vertically needed hacks (I dont recall exactly what I intended to do but they were commonplace things).

One would expect something as ubiquitous as HTML to have canonical solutions to these sorta things.

Honestly, it seems like every task I pick up at work.

Either I don't have the access, or the existing project wasn't configured/completed correctly, or an automated software install blew away my workstation environment variables, or a tool is down, or the business changed their mind, etc, etc.

Lot of things for me:

- Taxes in the United States

- Healthcare insurance logistics in the United States

- Finding good freelancers who care (yes I pay well but still it is a hit or miss.)

- Cancelling Comcast internet service in the United States

Falling asleep at night.

Losing weight.

The equation is pretty simple. Not too many variables.

But the execution is not simple, at least for many of us.

Stopping spam phone calls. You should just have to put your name on the "do not call" list, and you're done. But noooooo...

Putting a wine cork back in a bottle.

Taxes

Get help for chronic pain.
