Best way to transition into deep tech?

What would you advise someone wanting to work in deep tech companies? Go back to university and study engineering related stuff?

I would like to keep things general for other hackers, but my situation is - I am finishing studies in business major and I was planning to work at a traditional Internet startup. Probably creating CRUD apps. I saw this tweet [0] and got inspired to try to work at a deep tech startup instead. I am interested in biology of longevity and space industry
