New Chrome Update?

This arrow key on the top right of the window on Chrome has appeared overnight. It's function seems to be to "search tabs" whatever that means. what is it and what's the point? does anyone else find it distracting?

Also, while i'm here, why is it that google in the uk is making browsing in incognito so hard? it used to be, just load it and done. Now, i get these annoying messages about cookies etc. also, for some reason, over the last couple of weeks, the message box has gotten longer thus necessitating scrolling to check the "i agree" box. Whats that all about?

It's pretty much what it says on the tin- a tab search function. Useful for navigating if you have a bunch of tabs. I don't use Chrome much, and even on my main browser I rarely have a bunch of tabs open so I don't care much for it.
