No Adsense/Admob, what options do I have for generating ad revenue?


My Adsense/Admob has been banhammered years ago and I haven't considered freemium model. Since recently my blog/projects are getting good visits and I'm curious what moneitization options do I have.

What have worked for you for generating ad revenue as an independent publisher / hobbyist coder?

Daring Fireball (John Gruber) sells ad himself. Seems to work fine for him. No middleman = more cash to him.
