Criteria for Resubmission


Today I tried to submit: https://github.com/Kethku/neovide

Which took me to a previous submission from jan 2020: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=22176104

However, sometimes a link submitted a few days ago will qualify as a resubmission (new URL).

What are the criteria for a link to be considered new?

In a recent post, dang said 8 hours https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26783815 . This may change from time to time, but probably it didn't change in this 2 days ...

Perhaps it's more time for post with more traction, from the FAQ it appears to be one year, but IIRC it's no automatic ...

So ... send an email to dang and ask him directly.
