I'm even more surprised when I looked into my legal rights which in Denmark are basically "the bank is not obliged to do ANYTHING except provide an account for your salary and basic cash withdrawal from that account at a registry".
That seems like a huge amount of power that has been granted to an institution which we are increasingly addicted to. The next thing could be "we don't support transfers to X store since they carry non-organic foodstuffs" or "we don't feel like you should be able to buy fuel for your car at Y gas station since we don't support some political thing about where their gasoline comes from".
So, I'm interested, what is your take on this? Similar experiences, opinions, go.
Also, side note: A bank blocking a transfer to for buying decentralized currency is a perfect example of why decentralized currency is becoming important.
