Do you have a nonzero comment delay (minutes before your comment appears) configured?
Have you seen a comment get downvoted to 0 well within this period? E.g. comment delay of 10 minutes, comment goes to 0 while you're editing it, less than a minute old.

I have suspected some crooked mods at times when I stated something true and yet it was DV'd.
Mods are supposed to be above petty shit....
