What's Going on in India?

There are lots of very, very smart people in both of those places, sometimes we in the West over estimate ourselves in a sort of arrogance due to the protections and abundance of support our wealthy countries provide to us.

When You expat yourself to another country keep in mind that You will not have that "native" advantage and security, both of which have real world costs in those places that will require servicing.

The last thing You want to do is move to a place with a lower cost of living, live like a king until the money runs out and then find yourself stuck there while the rest of the world, including the people around You excel.

So I would say, have a plan that includes an exit strategy and possibly a circuit breaker that forces that plan into action if certain benchmarks are not met.

I am not trying to discourage You. There is lots of money to be made on the fringes but it is risky. Having a solid game plan is important.
