Would you share your email for money?
Lot of companies take our email and give it to Sales lead companies without a compensation and a consent. Would you give out your email to businesses if they compensated you?
If anyone would just offer me money for my email, probably not.
If there was policy in place that would allow me to charge if anyone used my email address without my explicit consent then “probably”.
The problem with the latter scenario is feasibility. How would you enforce any of that?
I'd happily share an email address for money (I mean, I share it for free often enough). Reading and acting on the mail would be another story
Personal- never, but I'd be happy to do it with my work email if that would mean only relevant sales pitches would come my direction. I don't mind people trying to sell me something if that's at least half relevant to what I do. Instead, I get calls from companies that think I work for a megacorp and offer things I don't even understand what they do,or go so far off, that even a rocket launchers would probably fit better the business needs.
I can easily define as many email addresses as I want to, and use a different email address for each correspondent. This way, I can disable that address if it receives many messages that I don't want. The same is true if they paid me for it; I would disable it if I received anything that I don't want.
Yes I can create an unlimited resource that I would be willing to trade for a limited resource: money.
Depends. How much money? For a $1 a day per company? Sure. Otherwise, no. How about $1 per mail? No.
Hm. No, I would probably not.
