My tech job requires less than an hour a day of work. What do I do?

In reference to [1], I have this job. I have industry specific knowledge and historical knowledge on a product that is mildly always broken, and can tell internal users how to fix an issue in <30 seconds. There are a couple issues a day I fix over email.

I got this job mid-pandemic and have been playing video games for about a year.

“Find a hobby” sounds great, but I don’t know how to find one that lets me be near a computer.

I am considering traveling full time.

What do I do? I am half-assing everything, getting very lazy, and depressed. I have already automated the job I would potentially get promoted to.

You sound like an under-employed contractor. Are you able to deal with several of this task at the same time without word getting out and interfering with your current? I am assuming you now perform this job remotely?? Alternatively start on a directed self improvement campaign to lead towards what you really want to do - not a really really good gamer...;) If you are at work at a desk and are not remote - many companies encourage people to add to their skill repertoire in a direction that suits you both??
